“Bubbles” Abstract – In Macro
My son was working on a project for school, … something to do with the effects on light, water, colors … etc.
He held the dish up to the window to take a look from below, when I got a glance of it.
Cool!
I grabbed a few shots from below and at a angle using the Canon 100mm macro and extension tubes, Canon 550EX flash, Gitzo Explorer tripod.
Then, … my son ran me off! : )

He used some red food coloring for this particular test of his, testing different colors of light within the waters, bubbles, etc..
I will be helping him with some lasers soon and water, … which has given me some ideas! : )

I can hear how that went! “C’mon dad, I want to finish this!”
I can see why you had to shoot it. Gorgeous.
I hope his homework project got an A+!

It’s great how children can open our eyes to visual experiences we may have overlooked. Very cool! My daughter has done this for me to great effect.
