"Macro Art In Nature"

Explorations in the artistic world of macro photography.

Blue Lobelia

I am always in search of flowers that have character, … a certain look, … a certain style that I enjoy working with when creating.
The blue lobelia flower, “Lobelia erinus”, offers up an array of compositions and playful depth when photographed in a large mass.
A large mass of colorful blues mixed in with green and late evening light gave me about a hours worth of play time the other day.
The following images are a bit different than the everyday head on shots that you normally see of these little blue beauties.
So, … give them a try sometime!

Hopefully one day I will have something to say and to write about like I use to.
The creative side in my photography is just fine, … but the creative side with my fingers and the keyboard is seriously lacking here lately. Just not much to say at all.
I think that my wife will soon try to commit me! : )

Everyone take care, and thanks for stopping by!
Michael
