“Adagio” Series – Black & Gold Version

I know that I have been a bit slack lately with some new “how to do it in macro” type posts, and hopefully I will come up with something soon, … after I catch up on a few other things.

A designer that I work with recently acquired some images from the “Adagio” Series for two floors within a large office building.
But, … the client wanted something different for the other two floors.
So, … I mentioned to the designer that if they really liked the overall style of the “Adagio” Series, would they consider staying with that style but in a different color? The client was puzzled at what I was talking about.
So, … a little time with Photoshop on a select number of images, … sent them to the designer, designer tests the waters and sends them to the client, … and “bingo”!
It suited their color scheme perfectly for the remaining two floors.
The following image is just one of those accepted by the client.

Always keep a open mind while out in the field, … and when sitting in front of that computer!
Getting creatively wild with your designers/consultants can sometimes work wonders for everyone involved in a project including the paying client!
And besides, ….. they look at so many photographer’s and painter’s work, … I know that they like seeing the sometimes quirky and/or wild side of the creatives that they work with. You never know what may develop.
After establishing a good working relationship with them, let them have a bit of fun sometimes with your work, … just like you should do!

In the end, … you just may turn out to be that consultant’s or designer’s “go to guy”!

Most of the “Adagio” Series, including some of the black and gold versions, will be uploaded to the archives in the next few days.
Newer images to follow.

Everyone take care,
Michael
