  1. What intense colors! Wat kind of processing did you do? Or were these the natural colors of the rock?

  2. Massimo, … these are pretty much the colors that you will see.
    With some of the rocks & minerals, those intense colors will come about when you wet the rocks/minerals in order to see those true colors. Some of them can be almost dull and lifeless if not wet when photographed.

    With this image here, I only added a touch of curves in Photoshop, and a hint of color correction on the yellow side to correctly give the sandy background color a more natural look.
    This piece had a overall background color of brown, but this one little small area within the rock had a bit more washed look, which is the reason for the color adjustment in that area of the image.
